Manya Gupta
Manya is a sophomore in Mather House studying Economics and Molecular & Cellular Biology. As an aspiring physician, her research at Harvard Medical School is focused on the genetics behind Spinal Muscular Atrophy. She hopes that through THURJ, she can promote undergraduate research among the Harvard community and beyond. Outside of THURJ, Manya is part of the Harvard Undergraduate Green Medicine Initiative and the Harvard Vision Global Health. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching crime shows, and spending time outside.

Krishna Rajagopal
Krishna is a sophomore in Eliot House pursuing a joint concentration in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology and Mathematics. He is fascinated by questions cell fate, biological self-assembly, and novel approaches to cancer biology, which he currently researches in the Hormoz Lab at Dana-Farber. Outside of THURJ, Krishna serves on the board of the Aging Initiative, performs as a Baroque violinist, and loves reading about art, philosophy and aesthetics (recently Kant!). As an Associate Editor of Content, he is excited to help new and returning members actualize their great ideas!

Tamar Scheinfeld
Tamar Scheinfeld is a pre-med first year in Hurlbut Hall hoping to study some form of Biology or History of Science with a secondary in History. She is interested in pediatric cardiology and is hoping to research cardiovascular diseases at Harvard. Outside of THURJ, she writes for the Harvard Crimson, on the club basketball team, and loves to bake.

Hey everyone! I am a part of Harvard’s class of 2029 and I’m currently living in Hollis South contemplating a concentration in Applied Math. As an associate on THURJ’s business board, I aspire to carry out fundraising initiatives and projects that will sustain the club’s efforts in growing the high school research competition as well as the research journal.

Annabella Mack
Annabella Mack is a first year in Wigglesworth interested in studying a joint concentration of Neuroscience on the MBB track and Music. Specifically, she is interested in music cognition-- how the humans create, perceive and process music-- and auditory neuroscience. Beyond THURJ, Annabella can be found in various orchestras, volunteering with HARMONY Afterschool, and writing music cognition research for The Harvard Brain Journal. In the past, she has worked in an auditory neuroscience lab at the University of Rochester (UR) Medical Center and worked with science outreach through UR's NEURO2ALL program. In THURJ, Annabella hopes to encourage more educational-events displaying our recent science publications, aiming to inspire undergraduates through the fun of science.

Dalevyon LJ Knight
I am a junior in Adams House studying chemistry and history of science. I am researched in Brian Liau’s Lab researching cancer biology. My vision for THURJ is for students to understand the importance of research, especially in a time where research is under attack.

Leah Lourenco
Leah Lourenco is a senior concentrating in Engineering Sciences (SB) and lives in Dunster House. Originally from Chillicothe, Missouri, where she grew up on a farm, she has conducted wet lab research in both the Mooney Lab and the Mitragotri Lab. In her free time, she enjoys painting, playing guitar, and exploring restaurants around Cambridge and Boston. Leah is excited to contribute to quality THURJ content this year and to help content board members gain a deeper understanding of the publication process!

Isaac Pacheco-Martinez
Born and raised in Lake Tahoe, CA, Isaac is a sophomore living in Cabot house studying Government with a secondary in Economics. He has previously done research on sustainable land development and the affects wildfires have on local California wildlife and small town economies. He's hoping to contribute to THURJ via innovative funding ideas while also finding ways to expand the reach of THURJ in the greater Boston area.

Nadina Bhadrasain
Nadina is a freshman from Waterbury, CT planning to concentrate in either Economics or Mechanical Engineering, with plans to pursue a career in motorsports. She is passionate about international relations, activism, and motorsports. She currently leads the Sustainable Style Project and UpStarters of United Way of Greater Waterbury. Outside of THURJ, she is an interviewer for Mademoiselle Racing, and a part of HSA and Crimson Motorsports. In her free time she enjoys writing, going to car shows, and doing ballet.

Hanjing Wang
Hanjing is a sophomore in Leverett House and originally from Shanghai, China, concentrating in Applied Math/CS. She has conducted research on natural language processing, LLM code generation, and utilizing AI to evaluate early earthquake warning systems. In her free time, she enjoys reading, creative writing, and playing NYT puzzles. As a Tech Associate, she hopes to promote THURJ’s digital presence and celebrate the products of student research among the Harvard community.
