Mizan Abraha
I am a junior in Leverett House studying Molecular and Cellular Biology with a secondary in Energy and Environment. I am involved in research seeking to gain a molecular understanding of certain congenital myopathies. I am looking forward to playing a role in recognizing the hard work our peers put into conducting and presenting their research!

Tianna Tout-Puissant
Tianna Tout-Puissant is a junior, originally from Pocono, Pennsylvania. She is studying Neuroscience and plans to pursue a career in neurosurgery. Currently, she is researching the effect of bipolar disorder on cardiovascular disease in Dr. Garcia-Cardeña’s laboratory at Brigham and Women's Hospital. In her free time, she loves traveling, working out, volunteering, playing basketball, cooking, and baking. As an Associate Editor of Peer Review, she hopes all undergraduate students will learn to love the editing process and broaden their knowledge on various research topics!

Grace Zhang
Grace is a junior from Wisconsin concentrating in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She’s currently with the Uchida Lab investigating the mechanisms behind foraging behavior driven by multiple sensory stimuli. Through systems neuroscience, this research seeks to understand how different neural circuits guide decision-making processes. Outside of THURJ, Grace loves playing the cello, volunteering, and visiting cafes with friends. As an Associate Editor of Peer Review, Grace hopes to encourage enthusiasm among peer reviewers and support student research writers. Her goal is to make research publishing and academia feel less daunting for students.

Ava Pakravan
Ava is a sophomore in Quincy House, concentrating in Psychology. She has been involved with research on Autism Spectrum Disorder and is now focusing on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. She hopes that she can bring her passion for the research process to all students across THURJ.

Manya Gupta
Manya is a sophomore in Mather House studying Economics and Molecular & Cellular Biology. As an aspiring physician, her research at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health is focused on health economics and medical precision. She hopes that through THURJ, she can promote undergraduate research among the Harvard community and beyond. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching crime shows, and spending time outside.

Stephanie Dragoi
Stephanie is a sophomore from Maryland excited to be serving as an Associate Editor of Peer Review! She has worked on research in areas including neuroimaging, the impact of infectious diseases on the developing brain, AI for weather modeling, and training LLMs to reason on biological data. Outside of THURJ, she is a violinist in the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra and writes for The Harvard Crimson.

Krishna Rajagopal
Krishna is a sophomore in Eliot House pursuing a joint concentration in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology and Mathematics. He is fascinated by questions cell fate, biological self-assembly, and novel approaches to cancer biology, which he currently researches in the Hormoz Lab at Dana-Farber. Outside of THURJ, Krishna serves on the board of the Aging Initiative, performs as a Baroque violinist, and loves reading about art, philosophy and aesthetics (recently Kant!). As an Associate Editor of Content, he is excited to help new and returning members actualize their great ideas!

Leah Lourenco
Leah Lourenco is a senior concentrating in Engineering Sciences (SB) and lives in Dunster House. Originally from Chillicothe, Missouri, where she grew up on a farm, she has conducted wet lab research in both the Mooney Lab and the Mitragotri Lab. In her free time, she enjoys painting, playing guitar, and exploring restaurants around Cambridge and Boston. Leah is excited to contribute to quality THURJ content this year and to help content board members gain a deeper understanding of the publication process!

Tamar Scheinfeld
Tamar Scheinfeld is a pre-med first year in Hurlbut Hall hoping to study some form of Biology or History of Science with a secondary in History. She is interested in pediatric cardiology and is hoping to research cardiovascular diseases at Harvard. Outside of THURJ, she writes for the Harvard Crimson, on the club basketball team, and loves to bake.

Krish Muniappan
My name is Krish! I grew up in Winchester, MA and am currently a freshman in Grays Hall. I am planning to concentrate in Biomedical Engineering and am interested in immunotherapy research. Outside of school, I volunteer with the Harvard Pediatric Cancer Buddies in Boston and with the Harvard Blood Drive Program. In my free time, I enjoy playing pickup basketball at the MAC and club baseball.

Isaac Pacheco-Martinez
Born and raised in Lake Tahoe, CA, Isaac is a sophomore living in Cabot house studying Government with a secondary in Economics. He has previously done research on sustainable land development and the affects wildfires have on local California wildlife and small town economies. He's hoping to contribute to THURJ via innovative funding ideas while also finding ways to expand the reach of THURJ in the greater Boston area.

Hey everyone! I am a part of Harvard’s class of 2029 and I’m currently living in Hollis South contemplating a concentration in Applied Math. As an associate on THURJ’s business board, I aspire to carry out fundraising initiatives and projects that will sustain the club’s efforts in growing the high school research competition as well as the research journal.
